Thousands of Greenlanders marched across snow and ice to protest against U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to take control of the self-governing island. Demonstrators carried signs, waved the Greenland flag, and chanted “Greenland is not for sale” as they walked from Nuuk’s downtown to the U.S. Consulate in near-freezing temperatures.
