The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has recently released the results for the Direct Recruitment for the posts of Constable Civil Police for 2023. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can check their result by visiting the official website at uppbpb.gov.in. In this regard, the board has now shared the latest update related to the examination. Taking to X, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board informed that this is not the final result. The recruitment process is still ongoing and the final marks of the candidates will be published after the completion of the entire process.
“The list of candidates called for DV/PST in respect of Constable Recruitment Exam 2023, which has been released, is the result of the first stage of the examination. This is not the final result. The said recruitment process is still ongoing. The marks of the candidates will be published after the completion of the entire process. The same process is followed in all examinations including UPSC,” the post mentioned.
“It has also been clarified in paragraph (8) of the notification dated 21st November, 2024 that “marks of the candidates will be published by the Recruitment Board after completion of the recruitment process”,” the board added.
The Board further requested candidates to remain patient until the examination process is complete. “The Board appreciates your cooperation and hopes that you will maintain patience till the completion of the examination process so that the sanctity and transparency of the examination is not adversely affected,” the notice read.
The written examination for Direct Recruitment 2023 for Constable Civil Police was conducted in 10 shifts. A total of 1,74,316 candidates have been declared successful, which is approximately 2.5 times the advertised vacancies. Now, these students will be called for a physical test and document verification round. The scrutiny of records and Physical Standard Test (DV/PST) is expected to take place in December. Following this round, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be scheduled for qualified candidates, which is set to take place in January.
