A shocking case has come to light in Haryana’s Sonipat where a village house has been plagued by a series of mysterious fires. Over eight days, the house of a farmer family has caught fire 22 times, spreading fear and unease throughout the community.

Tables, clothes, and various other items in different parts of the house are always prone to catching fire. Even silver jewellery kept in a locked safe melted due to the intense heat. The family is understandably distressed, enduring sleepless nights as they grapple with the unexplained phenomenon.

In Sonipat’s Farmana village, a series of sudden fires at the home of farmer Hari Kishan has become a source of apprehension, alarming both the affected family and the villagers.

The unexplained nature of the fires has instilled fear in the local community, leading them to avoid accepting any goods from the farmer’s household. Consequently, the family is compelled to maintain a constant vigil over their property.

One week ago, a locker inside the home of farmer Hari Kishan became engulfed in flames, melting the silver jewellery stored within. Since then, approximately 22 separate fires have ignited throughout the house, damaging clothes, furniture, and other belongings.

Despite investigations, no conclusive cause for the fires has been determined, leaving the terrified family with no explanation for the spontaneous combustion. Adding to their distress, they claim that no one is willing to remove the affected items from their home.

The victim’s family members reported owning eight buffaloes, which constitute their primary source of income through milk sales. Currently, only two buffaloes are producing milk, and villagers have ceased purchasing it. Consequently, villagers are maintaining a vigil inside the victim’s house.

The family members revealed that they experience anxiety and sleep disturbances at night, particularly when the children are asleep. Concerns have been raised about potential fire hazards and the family’s safety. While some attribute these incidents to superstition, others believe that natural or scientific explanations should be explored.

The victim’s family claims that, initially, when they recorded videos on their mobile phones during previous fire incidents in their house, the fires would inexplicably extinguish themselves. However, the fires now have to be extinguished manually with water. The family is urging the police to engage a team of forensic experts to investigate these unusual occurrences.
