The Rock noticed an aspiring wrestler’s impression of him, and he said so in public. T’Zaih posted an Instagram reel dressed and acting like The Great One, and the video made its way to the real thing, who left a comment under it. That comment praised the small details T’Zaih had picked up instead of just laughing at the bit, which is what made it stand out for an up-and-coming performer. Few people in wrestling have a persona as widely copied as The Rock’s, and he took a moment to acknowledge the effort.
The Rock Praises T’Zaih for Getting the Small Details Right in His Impersonation
The reel recreated The People’s Champion’s signature expressions and mannerisms, and the comment from The Rock was short but pointed: “It’s all the nuance and details u picked up on.”
Nuance is the right word for what makes a Rock impression work. His catchphrases, facial expressions and the way he carries himself are recognizable inside and outside WWE, so copying them badly is easy and copying them well is not.
T’Zaih’s video went for the second one, and the original noticed.
The Brahma Bull hasn’t been a regular on WWE programming lately. His last appearance came at Elimination Chamber in Toronto in 2025, when he appeared with Travis Scott and helped John Cena turn heel on Cody Rhodes.
He hasn’t been on WWE television since, even with speculation about another return never really going away.
Cody Rhodes Believes The Rock Still Has a Few Matches Left in His Wrestling Career
Whether The Rock is done competing is another open question, and Cody Rhodes has a take on it.
“Oof. It’s not that I’m evading that answer. It’s that I don’t really know how to answer because I think personally he has a couple of matches probably left to do. I think that personally,” Rhodes said when asked about it on an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
Rhodes and The Rock have never had a singles match. The Rock’s last match came at WrestleMania XL, when he teamed with Roman Reigns on Night One against Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
Rhodes said WrestleMania 40 would also be a fitting final moment for The Rock as an in-ring performer, but added that the call belongs to The Final Boss himself.
The Rock has kept the door open without walking through it. He recently told the hosts of The Morning Shift that they’d be his guests the next time he appears at WrestleMania.
No date, event or in-ring plan came with that, though talk has linked a possible return to WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh.
For now, nothing about The Rock’s next WWE appearance has been confirmed.
