Athestac 7.0
Potahole Alert System
This is a smart feature based on Athestac 7.0 software and data analytics. This helps protect the rider from bad roads and pits. This feature increases the security of the rider and protects the scooter from the damage caused by the pits. This system is currently available in select cities.

- Data Collect: The system uses more than 760 million kilometers of riding data collected from scooters of more than 4.5 lakh Ather Customers. Scooter sensors record the condition of the road- such as pits or bumpy parts.
- Analysis: This data is sent to the cloud system of Ather, where a digital map of the condition of the roads is prepared by analyzing it. This map gives accurate information about pits and poor roads in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
- Alert: When the rider gets closer to a pit or a bad road, the system warns through visual alert and voice alert on the display of the scooter. For example, a voice alert like ‘ahead is a pit is careful’ can get a voice alert.
- Option: The system also tells the option of low pit routes to the rider through maps. Based on weather estimates such as rain, this system also advises the rider to choose the right riding mode and traction control.
