Lens secured their seventh consecutive victory by defeating Toulouse 3-0 on Friday, extending their lead over Paris Saint-Germain to four points at the top of Ligue 1.
Lens have maintained the top position since November 30 and will remain there for at least another fortnight as next weekend is dedicated to the French Cup.

After a balanced first 20 minutes, the game shifted when Toulouse striker Emersonn was sent off for a harsh challenge on Odsonne Edouard.
Lens capitalized on their numerical advantage at the beginning of the second half, launching a sustained attack on the Toulouse goal.
Wesley Said broke the deadlock with a curling shot in the 57th minute, followed by captain Adrien Thomasson adding a second five minutes from the end. Pierre Ganiou secured the victory with a fine strike in the 90th minute.
