The world’s prestigious TIME magazine on Wednesday released the TIME100 list of 2026, in which many prominent personalities from India were included. This year, Sundar Pichai, Ranbir Kapoor and Chef Vikas Khanna were honored for their global impact.
Released every year, this list lists the 100 most influential people in the fields of entertainment, technology, finance, sports, activism and academia. Shahrukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Narendra Modi, Deepika Padukone and Mahatma Gandhi have previously been included in TIME magazine’s TIME100 list.
Vikas Khanna called it a proud moment
Famous chef Vikas Khanna called it a proud moment. He said that it is a matter of great pride for me to be included in the TIME100 list of 2026. Khanna gave the credit of this honor to his family. He said that he has been able to reach this position due to the sacrifice, blessings and guidance of his grandmother, mother and sister.
The TIME100 2026 list includes global luminaries like Ralph Lauren, Kate Hudson, Ethan Hawke, Mark Kelly and Hilarie Knight for their outstanding contributions in their fields.
Last year not a single Indian was included
No Indian was included in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people of 2025. Then, for the first time in its 21-year history, there was no Indian in the list.
