Success Story: Sanskriti Trivedy Cleared UPSC In 6th Attempt, Know Her Preparation Strategy

The UPSC exam is one of the most challenging exams in the world. A native of Jamui, Bihar, Sanskriti Trivedy studied at Gargi College, Delhi University. After graduating in Political Science, she began preparing for the UPSC exam, with a clear goal of becoming an IAS officer. She also completed a master’s in International Relations from JNU. She failed to clear Prelims in her first two UPSC civil service exam attempts and reached till the Mains exam in 2021, which was her third attempt. (Image: Instagram)

Sanskriti Trivedi hails from Jamui, Bihar, and studied at Delhi University. In 2024, she achieved All India Rank 17 on her sixth attempt. She had previously passed the UPSC exam in 2022 but did not become an IAS officer due to her rank. She secured AIR 352 in her fourth attempt, which led to her selection for the Indian Defence Accounts Service. Despite this, she remained confident and persevered. While many candidates get tired by the sixth attempt, this attempt proved to be a game-changer for her. Sanskriti had chosen Political Science and International Relations as her optional subjects for the UPSC.
