SSC CHSL 2025 Tier I Exam City Slip Released: Where And How To Download?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city intimation slip for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam 2025. Applicants can check the Latest News section on the official website at ssc.gov.in to download the exam city slips directly.

The city slip lists the city so that candidates can plan their travel, while the admit card lists the complete centre address, gate closing times, and what to bring. The admit card will be released by November 9. Candidates must print both the documents as it they will have to carry it to the exam centre.

Those who have passed class 12th and aspire to a government job like LDC, JSA, or DEO, they can appear for the SSC CHSL exam. The tier-1 exam begins on November 12, 2025. It will be conducted on a computer in three shifts with 3,131 vacancies for positions such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

This year, around 30.69 lakh candidates from across the country have applied for the exam. These Group C jobs have salaries ranging between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. The exam was initially scheduled for September 8 to 18 but later postponed to November.

If there is any discrepancy in the exam city slip, candidates must contact the SSC helpdesk or send an email. Applicants must ensure their application number and Date of Birth is entered correctly while downloading the slip.

How To Download SSC CHSL Tier I Exam City Slip?

To download your city slip, have your registration number and date of birth ready:

Step 1. Visit the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, find the link for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025 (Tier-I).

Step 3. Click on City Intimation Slip.

Step 4. Log in by entering your registration number and DOB.

Step 5. Download and print the slip from the new page.

SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam Pattern

The exam comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs). General candidates have a time limit of 60 minutes, while PwD (Blind/Cerebral Palsy) candidates have 80 minutes. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam covers the following subjects: English Language (Basic Knowledge) with 25 questions for 25 marks, General Intelligence with 25 questions for 25 marks, Quantitative Aptitude with 25 questions for 25 marks, and General Awareness with 25 questions for 25 marks. In total, there are 100 questions worth 100 marks.
