3. IMF increased India’s GDP growth estimate to 7.3%: Said- India’s growth rate is better than expected, economy will remain booming next year also.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday increased India’s GDP growth forecast by 0.7% to 7.3 percent for the financial year 2025-26.

Earlier in October, IMF had estimated it to be 6.6%. IMF has said in its World Economic Outlook report that the growth rate in India has been much better than expected.

Bharat Coking Coal (BCCL) was listed in the stock market today i.e. on January 19 with a premium of 96%. The company’s shares were listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at ₹45, which is 95.65% higher than its issue price of ₹23. Whereas on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) it was listed at ₹ 45.21, up 95.65%.

However, after this its share came down slightly and it closed at Rs 40.66 on NSE with a gain of 76.78%. Whereas on BSE it increased by 75.13% and closed at Rs 40.28. The company has raised ₹1,071.11 crore through this public issue.

5. Tata Capital profits of Rs 1,285 crore in the third quarter: 39% increase on annual basis, earnings increase by 7% to ₹ 5,786 crore

Tata Capital, the non-banking financial company (NBFC) of Tata Group, has made a profit of Rs 1,285 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26. There has been an increase of 39% on annual basis. The company had made a profit of Rs 922 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

There has been an increase of 7% in the company’s earnings. Jio Financial has earned Rs 5,786 crore in the October-December quarter. In the same quarter last year, this figure was Rs 5,375 crore.
