The union minister was on a religious and official day-long tour to Gujarat on Saturday during which he visited Somnath Jyotirlinga temple and Gir National Park in Junagadh. Later he was scheduled to interact with the Peanut Research Center farmers and Lakhpati Didi beneficiaries. As he was also scheduled to take a flight from Rajkot at around 8 o’clock later in the day, so he was in a hurry.
