Organised by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association, the game offers exciting cash prizes while promoting archery among the youth in the region.

Shillong Teer is a unique lottery game that combines traditional archery with the thrill of winning cash prizes. Widely popular in Meghalaya, it not only offers attractive rewards but also helps in promoting the age-old sport of archery.
HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
The game is played in two short rounds, each lasting just two minutes. In the first round, expert archers shoot 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second round. Players place their bets by picking a number between 0 and 99, trying to guess how many arrows will hit the target. Tickets can be purchased at licensed counters in various denominations: Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50.
The prize money depends on the ticket value and the accuracy of the prediction. For example, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket wins Rs 80, while a successful prediction in the second round earns Rs 60. Players who accurately guess both rounds can win up to Rs 4,000 with just a Rs 1 ticket.
