- Sensex Surges 300 Points, Nifty Gains 100; Banking & Consumer Stocks Lead

There is an increase in the stock market today i.e. on 9th July. Sensex is trading at the level of 76,850 with a rise of more than 300 points. Nifty also has a gain of about 100 points, it is trading at the level of 24,000. There is more buying in consumer durable and banking shares today.

There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 8th July, a decline was seen in the stock market. The Sensex fell 1677 points or 2.15% to close at 76,504. Nifty fell 516 points or 2.12% and closed at 23,882.
