There is a decline in the stock market today i.e. on 6th September, the last trading day of the week. Sensex opened at 82,171 with a decline of 30 points. Nifty has also declined by 50 points, it is trading at 25,090 level.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 16 are down and 14 are up. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 35 are down and 15 are up. Among the sectoral indices of NSE, banking and auto stocks are trading with a decline.
Mixed trading in Asian markets
- In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei fell by 0.24% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell by 0.075%. China’s Shanghai Composite rose by 0.11% and Korea’s Kospi fell by 0.86%.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹688.69 crore on September 5. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,970.74 crore.
- On September 5, the Dow Jones of the US market fell 0.54% and closed at 40,755. Whereas the Nasdaq rose 0.25% and closed at 17,127. The S&P500 closed at 5,503 with a fall of 0.30%.

Today is the second day of bidding for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company Limited. On the first day, this IPO was subscribed a total of 6.53 times. The IPO was subscribed 8.24 times in the retail category, 4.46 times in the qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 5.29 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category.
The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 12. Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company wants to raise a total of ₹ 169.65 crore through this issue. For this, the company is issuing 14,750,000 fresh shares worth ₹ 122.43 crore. Earlier, yesterday i.e. on 5th September, there was a decline in the stock market. Sensex closed at 82,201 with a decline of 151 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 53 points, it closed at 25,145.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 21 fell and 9 rose. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 33 fell and 17 rose.
