The stock market is witnessing mixed trading today i.e. on 5th September. The Sensex is trading at the level of 82,450 with a gain of more than 100 points. Out of the 30 stocks of the Sensex, 18 are rising and falling.
Nifty is also up by about 50 points. It is trading at the level of 25,250. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 27 are seeing a rise and 22 are seeing a fall. At the same time, 1 stock is trading without any change.
Mixed trading in Asian markets today
- Mixed trading is being seen in the Asian market today. Japan’s Nikkei index has fallen by 0.35% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has fallen by 0.37%. China’s Shanghai Composite has gained 0.05%.
- On September 4, the Dow Jones of the US market rose 0.09% and closed at 40,974. Whereas the Nasdaq fell 0.30% and closed at 17,084. The S&P500 closed at 5,520 with a fall of 0.16%.
IPO of Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading will open
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Shri Tirupati Balaji Agro Trading Company Limited will open today (September 5). Investors will be able to bid for this IPO till September 9. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 12.
There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier, yesterday i.e. on 4th September, the stock market witnessed a decline. The Sensex closed at 82,352 with a decline of 202 points. Nifty also saw a decline of 81 points today. It closed at 25,198.
