On the first trading day of the week, on today i.e. Monday, September 22, the Sensex falls 200 points to 82,450 trading. The Nifty is also down by about 50 points, it is at 25,300 levels.

16 out of 30 shares of Sensex decline. Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL Tech, TCS shares have a decline of up to 4.5% due to selling. Adani ports and power grids have climbed.

27 out of 50 Nifty shares are trading by falling. The IT index of NSE has fallen nearly 3%. FMCG, Pharma and private banking stocks are also declined. Auto, media and metal have a slight edge.

Mixed business in global market

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading up to 45,729 above 1.52% and Korea’s Kospi is trading at 3,471 above 0.77%.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 1.03% to 26,270 and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,818 below 0.043%.
  • On September 19, the US Dow Jones closed at 46,315 above 0.37%. Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.72% and S&P 500 by 0.49%.

On 19 September Domestic investors ₹ 2,105 Buy crores of shares

  • On September 19, Foreign Investors (FIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 390.74 in the cash segment and Rs 2,105.22 crore by domestic investors (DIS).
  • So far this month, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 10,571.65 crore. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of ₹ 38,324.69 crore during this period.
  • In August, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 46,902.92 crore. At the same time, domestic investors made net purchases of Rs 94,828.55 crore during this period.

There was a decline in the market on Friday

On Friday, September 19, the Sensex fell 388 points to close at 82,626. The Nifty also declined by 97 points, it closed at 25,327 levels.

In today’s business, there was more purchase in government banks, pharma and realty shares. At the same time, auto, FMCG, media and IT shares were sold.
