The stock market is getting a decline today i.e. on August 26. The Sensex is trading at 81,000 levels with a decline of over 600 points. The Nifty also has a decline of over 200 points, it is trading at the level of 24,750.

Out of 30 Sensex’s 30 shares, 28 are falling and only 2 are getting a rise in 2. Today there is a significant decline in pharma, metal and energy shares. At the same time, IT and Pharma shares are trading under pressure.

Global market declines

  • Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 42,380 at 42,380 in Asian markets and Korea’s Cospie is trading at 3,183 below 0.83%.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 0.22% to 25,773 and China’s Shanghai Composite at 3,888.
  • On August 25, the US Dow Jones fell 0.77% to close at 45,282. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite fell 0.22% and S&P 500 declined 0.43%.

There was a decline in the market yesterday Earlier yesterday i.e. on 25 August, the stock market was declining. The Sensex climbed 329 points to close at 81,636 levels. The Nifty was also rose by 98 points, it reached the level of 24,968.
