State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 103 Specialist Cadre Officer posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official SBI website, sbi.bank.in. The last date to submit the application form is November 17, 2025.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification

Head (Product, Investment, and Research): Graduation or Post-Graduation from a government-recognised university or institution or reputed colleges. Preferred qualifications include CA, CFP, CFA, NISM Investment Advisor, NISM 21-A, or Research Analyst Certificate.

Zonal Head (Retail): Graduation from a government-recognised university or institution.

Regional Head: Graduation from a government-recognised university or institution.

Relationship Manager-Team Lead: Graduation from a government-recognised university or institution.

Investment Specialist (IS): Professional qualification in PG Degree or PG Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, or Actuarial Science from a recognised institution or CA/CFA.

Investment Officer (IO): Professional qualification in PG Degree or PG Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, or Actuarial Science from a recognised institution or CA/CFA.

Project Development Manager (Business): MBA/PGDM from a government-recognised university or institution.

Central Research Team (Support): Graduation in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, or Statistics from a government-recognised university or institution.

Head (Product, Investment & Research): 35 – 50 years

Zonal Head (Retail): 35 – 50 years

Regional Head: 35 – 50 years

Relationship Manager-Team Lead: 28 – 42 years

Investment Specialist (IS): 28 – 42 years

Investment Officer (IO): 28 – 40 years

Project Development Manager (Business): 30 – 40 years

Central Research Team (Support): 25 – 35 years

SBI SCO Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

General, EWS, and OBC category candidates need to pay Rs 750 while the application is free for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection process involves shortlisting candidates, followed by one or more rounds of personal, telephonic, or video interviews, and CTC negotiations.

Meeting the minimum qualifications and experience does not ensure an interview call. The shortlisting committee will determine the criteria, and the Bank will select an adequate number of candidates for interviews. The Bank’s decision regarding interview calls is final.

The interview is worth 100 marks. The final merit list  will be prepared in descending order based on interview scores. In case of a tie in scores, candidates will be ranked by age in descending order.
