The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for 2129 Senior Teacher (Second Grade) positions in state government educational institutions. Applications will be accepted from December 26 to January 24. There are vacancies available across eight subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Punjabi, and Urdu. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

RPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
The application fee for general candidates is set at Rs 600, while OBC, SC, and ST candidates are required to pay Rs 400. A fee of Rs 500 will be charged for making corrections to the application. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age. To be eligible, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in education.
RPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
The recruitment exam will feature all objective-type questions, with the full syllabus on the Commission’s website. The exam will be divided into two parts: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I, worth 200 marks, will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and last 2 hours. Paper II, worth 300 marks, will include 150 multiple-choice questions and will be 2 hours and 30 minutes long. Both papers will have negative markings, with one-third of the marks for each incorrect answer being deducted.
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is a state-level organisation that manages all administrative recruitments in Rajasthan. Every year, RPSC conducts numerous teaching and non-teaching recruitments around the state. Recently, the commission cancelled the RPSC EO, RO exam 2022, which was scheduled for May 14, 2023. The commission has also posted the new schedule for Revenue Officer Grade II and Executive Officer Class IV positions on its official website. The cancellation of the examination comes after the commission received confirmed information that the integrity and confidentiality of the examination were violated.
