Reliance Industries (RIL) has announced the date of its third quarter (Q3) results. The board members of the company will review and approve the financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2025 in the meeting to be held on January 16.
According to the exchange filing, an analyst meet will also be held after the board meeting, in which the performance for the nine months of the current financial year will be discussed.

Shares fell 8% in four days, market cap reduced by Rs 1 lakh crore
The date of results has come at a time when Reliance shares are witnessing a continuous decline. The stock closed more than 2% lower at ₹1,470.70 on the NSE on Thursday.
This is the fourth consecutive decline in the last 8 sessions, in which the stock has fallen by about 8%. The market cap of the company has decreased by more than Rs 1 lakh crore. It has come to Rs 19.89 lakh crore.
Shares fell due to news of Russian oil, company said wrong
A report on Tuesday this week claimed that three ships loaded with Russian crude oil were headed towards Reliance’s Jamnagar refinery. e
After this news, Reliance shares saw a huge intraday fall of up to 5%. However, Reliance rejected the report as completely false and “factual”.
How was the performance in the second quarter?
Reliance Industries is left with Rs 18,165 crore as net profit (Consolidated Net Profit) in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. This is 10% more than the July-September quarter of 2024-25. Last year the company had made a profit of Rs 16,563 crore.
Whereas Reliance had generated revenue of Rs 2.59 lakh crore from products and services. It has increased by 10% on annual basis. A year ago i.e. in the July-September quarter 2024, the company had generated a revenue of Rs 2.35 lakh crore.
What are the expectations from the results?
Analysts believe that the results on January 16 will decide the future direction of Reliance shares. Investors will especially keep an eye on the margins of the company’s telecom (Jio) and retail businesses. Also, the margins of Jamnagar Refinery will be significant.
