Bollywood actress Nushrat Bharucha recently came into limelight over a controversy on social media after the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL.
After RCB’s title win, Nusrat shared a video of her TV screen celebrating on Instagram Story. Some voices were heard in the background of the video, which some social media users misinterpreted.
After this rumors started spreading on social media. After a few minutes Nusrat deleted that Instagram story.
Nusrat told the reason for the sounds
After trolling, Nusrat Bharucha gave clarification on this matter on social media. She told that she was watching the match at a friend’s house and the sounds heard in the video were of her friend’s small puppy.
According to Nusrat, the puppy was scared and crying due to the loud fireworks going on outside. He also shared some other videos of that night, in which the puppy is seen and similar sounds are heard.
Nusrat wrote about trolling, “Some people have crossed the limit. They created so much ruckus over the sound of a puppy crying. Keep your mind calm and do not spread anything without thinking.”
Nusrat Bharucha is known for films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. She was last seen in the film ‘Uff Ye Siyapa’. The film was directed by G. Ashok did it. Whereas, it was produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s Luv Films.
The music of the film was composed by A.R. Rahman had given. Apart from Nusrat, the film also featured Soham Shah, Nora Fatehi, Omkar Kapoor and Sharib Hashmi. The film was released in theaters on 5 September 2025.
However, after release, the film could not do much at the box office and proved to be a flop. According to Sacknilk, the film could earn only Rs 17 lakh at the Indian box office.

Bollywood actress Nusrat Bharucha had reached the world famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, just before the arrival of the New Year on 30 December 2025.
