Rajasthan police arrested Sanjay Jat, a Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooter, recovering arms; he faces cases in five states.

The Rajasthan police arrested a shooter linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang on Sunday.
A reward of Rs 25,000 had been announced on the shooter, identified as Sanjay Jat, India Today reported. A foreign-made pistol, locally manufactured arms, including seven country-made pistols, three country-made rifles (kattas), a pakira, five live cartridges for the kattas, and nine live cartridges for the pistol have been recovered from him after the arrest.
As per the report, Jat’s gang has been involved in robbery, arms trafficking, and extortion in Haryana and Rajasthan. The accused has multiple criminal cases registered against him across Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Authorities had been searching for him for a long time and managed to arrest him during a roadblock operation.
As per the police, the accused reportedly worked directly for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and was involved in several high-profile criminal incidents in the past.
