The Radio Network of Dainik Bhaskar Group My FM has received 14 new cities in the private FM Radio Phase-3 e-auction organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
With its policy of spreading the spread of radio to more cities, the Ministry completed the auction process keeping transparency. My FM has found the most cities in this auction.
Now access to 44 cities increased from 30 to 30
With this, My FM has now increased from 30 to 44 cities. The new cities of My FM Network – Rajasthan will have Bhilwara, Sriganganagar, Pali, Sikar and Alwar.
At the same time, the listeners of Bhuj, Gandhidham as well as Union Territory Daman in Gujarat will now hear My FM. Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak and Ambala new stations will be added to Haryana. MP’s Rewa and Ratlam have also joined the network of My FM. My FM radio stations of these 14 new cities will begin by the end of this year.
Extension so important
Radio is still one of the most trusted mediums for everyday information, entertainment and emergency messages. It is becoming increasingly popular among the youth. Since 2006, My FM has added listeners to Tier-2/3 cities as the choice of people. Now with expansion in 14 new cities, My FM will be associated with more confidence to the audience.
