Chelsea dropped points on the road on Sunday in the Premier League as they were held to a goalless draw at Goodison Park by Everton.

The stalemate left Chelsea standing second in the table with 35 points from 17 games, one behind Liverpool, who travel to Tottenham later in the day. However, the table-toppers would still have a game in hand over the chasing Blues after their game at the Tottenham Stadium.

Everton, who moved into the hands of new ownership earlier in the week, jumped up to 15th in the table, par on points with 16th-placed Crystal Palace who have a worse goal difference record following their 1-5 hammering by Arsenal on Saturday.

Fulham 0-0 Southampton

There was another goalless draw in the PL on the day as Southampton managed to pick up a point from their trip to the Craven Cottage as the fixture between the sides ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Leicester 0-3 Wolves

Goncalo Guedes opened the scoring at the King Power Stadium in the 19th minute to put the visitors ahead before Rodrigo Gomes added his side’s second of the night.

Matheus Cunha struck in the 44th minute to give the Wolves a three-goal cushion ahead of the referee’s whistle for halt time.

Wolves jumped to 18th in the table with 12 points following the win, but still remain in the drop zone, only ahead of Ipswich and Southampton.

Manchester United 0-3 Bournemouth

Manchester United went down to Bournemouth in tame fashion at Old Trafford as the Cheeries hit three past Ruben Amorim’s men in the other game on the day.

Dean Huijsen, Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo all netted for Andoni Iraola and Co. as the visitors registered a 3-0 win on the road to climb to fifth in the PL table.
