PM Modi Foreign Visit Tour Live Updates Today: As part of his five-nation tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sweden and held wide-ranging bilateral talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
In a post on X, PM Modi praised the strong India-Sweden partnership and shared details of the discussions held between the two leaders.
The leaders also jointly addressed the European Round Table for Industry (ERT), where PM Modi highlighted India’s expanding strategic and economic ties with Sweden and Europe. Crown Princess Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden was also present at the meeting and conveyed greetings from King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
“Had fantastic conversations with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. It was fantastic that H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria also participated in the meeting. She also conveyed congratulations from Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Sweden. My gratitude to them,” PM Modi wrote on Monday.
He also extended greetings to the Swedish monarch on his 80th birthday. “The relations between India and Sweden are built on strong foundations of democratic values, the principles of the rule of law, and human-centred development,” he added.
