Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of ‘Journey Towards Developed India’ at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on Tuesday (July 30) at 12 noon. This is a conference to be held after the Union Budget 2024-25.

It has been organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The objective of the conference will be to outline the government’s vision for development and the role of the industry in this effort.

More than 1000 participants will attend the conference
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, more than 1000 participants from various sectors including industry, government, diplomatic community and think tanks will attend the conference. Many people will join from various CII centres in the country and abroad.

After the budget, the Prime Minister had said, ‘The budget ensures inclusive growth for a developed India. Apart from this, this budget benefits every section of the society and paves the way for a developed India.’

The Finance Minister presented the budget on 23 July
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024-25 in Parliament on July 23. According to the Finance Ministry, the budget outlines a strong plan focusing on jobs, MSME, agriculture sector, startups and economic growth amid global uncertainties.

What is Confederation of Indian Industry?
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), established in 1895, is a non-governmental, non-profit, industry led and industry managed organization of India. This organization is playing an active role in the industrial development process of India. The headquarters of this organization is located in New Delhi.
