Now, regarding Meloni’s visit, the Chinese newspaper Global Times has written that she has come to Beijing to fix the spoiled relations with China.

The Global Times wrote on Saturday that Meloni will now have to work harder to win China’s trust. She cannot say that she welcomes Chinese investment in her country when the reality is something else. The newspaper alleged that the Meloni government adopts various tactics to stop Chinese investment in Italy.
