Google is all set to unveil its new Pixel 11 lineup today, and just hours before the launch, the alleged India prices of all four models have surfaced online. If the latest leak is accurate, the Pixel 11 series will get a noticeable price increase over the previous generation, although even the Pixel 11 Pro could remain cheaper than Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro.
According to a report by Gizbot, the Pixel 11 will be priced at Rs 89,999 in India, while the Pixel 11 Pro could cost Rs 1,19,999. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is reportedly priced at Rs 1,34,999. Meanwhile, Google’s foldable flagship, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is said to carry a price tag of Rs 1,86,999.
These prices are not official yet, so they should be treated as leaks until Google announces them at the launch event. The company is expected to unveil the Pixel 11 series on August 12, although for viewers in India, the event will take place at around 3:30AM on August 13.
Pixel 11 series could get a Rs 15,000 price hike in India
If the leaked prices turn out to be correct, Google is making the Pixel 11 series considerably more expensive than last year’s models. The standard Pixel 11 could see a Rs 10,000 increase over the Pixel 10, which launched in India at Rs 79,999 for its 256GB storage variant.
The Pixel 11 Pro could also cost Rs 10,000 more than the Pixel 10 Pro, which was priced at Rs 1,09,999. Similarly, the Pixel 11 Pro XL could jump from Rs 1,24,999 to Rs 1,34,999.
The biggest increase appears to be reserved for the foldable. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is reportedly priced at Rs 1,86,999, which would represent a Rs 15,000 increase over its predecessor.
There is at least one significant change that could soften the blow. Google is reportedly dropping the 128GB storage option, meaning the Pixel 11 lineup will start with 256GB storage. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected to start with 512GB storage.
However, there is an interesting compromise on the Pro models. While the Pixel 10 Pro offered 16GB of RAM, the Pixel 11 Pro is reportedly starting with 12GB. Buyers who want 16GB may have to opt for the 512GB version.
Pixel 11 series gets a new RGB light
The Pixel 11 lineup is not expected to bring a major redesign. Google’s own teasers have already hinted at a familiar overall look, but the company appears to be adding some new touches. One of the most noticeable additions could be an RGB light integrated into the rear camera visor. Leaked material has referred to the feature as HiLight, while it has also been reported as Pixel Glow. The light could be used for notifications and other functions, giving the Pixel phones a new visual element.
Under the hood, the Pixel 11 series is said to bring a much bigger change. Google’s Tensor G6 chip is reportedly being manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process, potentially making it the first smartphone processor based on the new node.
Google is also expected to move away from the Samsung modem used in previous Pixel generations. An FCC filing reportedly points to a MediaTek M90 modem, with satellite connectivity also expected to remain part of the package.
What to expect from Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL
The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro are expected to retain 6.3-inch displays, while the Pro XL could continue with a larger 6.8-inch screen. Camera upgrades are also expected, particularly on the Pro models. The Pixel 11 Pro is reportedly capable of up to 120x digital zoom, while the standard Pixel 11 could offer up to 30x digital zoom.
Google is also expected to push its AI capabilities further with a new generation of Gemini features. The Pixel 11 series could support more advanced multi-step tasks, visual understanding and agent-like functions, taking Google’s AI ambitions further than the current Pixel generation.
The Pro XL, meanwhile, is expected to remain largely a bigger version of the Pro. Leaked specifications point to a 5,115mAh battery, compared with 4,850mAh on the smaller Pro model, alongside the larger display.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold could be the most expensive Pixel yet
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is likely to be the headline device for buyers interested in foldables. Leaked promotional material suggests it could feature an 8-inch inner display and start with 512GB of storage.
Interestingly, the reported battery capacity is 4,800mAh, which would actually be lower than the 5,015mAh battery on the previous-generation Fold. That means Google may be relying heavily on the efficiency gains from the Tensor G6 to improve endurance.
For Indian buyers, the bigger question will be whether Google’s new pricing makes the Pixel 11 lineup harder to recommend. The standard model is still below the premium iPhone and Galaxy flagships, but a Rs 10,000 increase puts more pressure on Google to justify the higher price with better performance, battery life and AI features.
For now, though, the leaked prices remain unofficial. Google should reveal the final India pricing when the Pixel 11 series officially launches. People are also advised to take the leaked specs with a pinch of salt as Google is yet to make everything official.
