England defeated Pakistan by 194 runs in the Lord’s Test.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday made a major change in its team before the third and final Test against England.
The board has called 7 players back home. Seven new players have been given a chance in their place.
PCB has released Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Aga, Ali Usman, Aamir Jamal, Muhammad Awais Zafar and Khurram Shehzad.
These changes have happened after Pakistan’s defeat in the Leeds and Lord’s Tests. The team is behind 2-0 in the 3-match series. The third and last match will start from September 9.
Randhawa, Razaullah get first chance
The seven new players include Sam Ayub, Abdullah Fazal, Arafat Minhas, Saad Baig, Muhammad Randhawa, Razaullah and Muhammad Imran Jr.
Five of these players have played international cricket. Whereas, Muhammad Randhawa and Razaullah have not played any international match. All these players will join the Pakistan team before the third test.
Sam Ayub has played eight Tests and Abdullah Fazal has played two Tests. Lefty spin bowling all-rounder Arafat Minhas has played three ODIs and four T20 Internationals for Pakistan.
Sarfaraz and Gul also released
The Pakistani board has also released head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul. Now Mike Hesson has been made the head coach and Ashley Noffke has been made the bowling coach.
Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed became the head coach of the Pakistani team 4 months ago.

Babar Azam (Captain), Abdullah Fazal, Arafat Minhas, Azaan Awais, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Imran Jr., Mohammad Ghazi Ghori (wk), Razaullah, Saad Baig (wk), Sam Ayub, Sajid Khan, Saud Shakeel, Shan Masood and Ubaid Shah.
