Pakistan Afghanistan Border Clashes LIVE Updates: Amid the ongoing border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan, it has been learnt that Islamabad on Wednesday conducted airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Spin Boldak city. At least three Afghan-Taliban posts on the border were struck, local sources said, adding they saw drones and aerial strikes.
The attack left at least four Pakistani security officials dead, while four were injured. Meanwhile, the Chief Taliban Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that the Pakistani strike killed 12 civilians and injured more than 100 individuals.
Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan intensified since last week when the Taliban government accused Pakistan of carrying out airstrikes in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and in a market in eastern Afghanistan. Islamabad had previously launched strikes inside Afghanistan, targeting what it said were militant hideouts.
