Unidentified gunmen reportedly fired over a dozen rounds at the Gurugram residence of YouTuber and former Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav early Sunday, said officials.

Police said the incident occurred between 5:30 am and 6 am, when three men on motorcycles opened fire and then escaped from the area. Over two dozen shots were discharged, though no one was injured.

Sources told CNN-News18 that the YouTuber was not present at his residence during the incident, and only the caretaker was inside the premises when the firing took place.

Reports suggest the gunfire targeted the ground and first floors of the residence, while Yadav lives on the second and third floors.

Police reached the spot soon after the firing, gathered forensic samples, and are reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity.

Officials said legal proceedings have been set in motion, with further action to follow after a formal complaint from the family.

So far, Yadav has not filed an official complaint regarding the incident, sources said.

“Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing,” said Sandeep Kumar, PRO Gurugram Police.

Relatives of Yadav stated that he had not received any threats before the incident, while the YouTuber himself is presently outside Haryana.
