The incident occurred on 6 September when many major cables such as Seacom/TGN-EA, AAE-1 and EIG were cut. The company said that the cable repair will take time. Meanwhile, users are facing slow internet.

Microsoft said in his Ajur service update that the traffic passing through the Middle East has been affected, causing users to face a latency (delay).
The company reported that it is optimizing the routing. A 17% global internet traffic passes from Red C, which connects Europe and Asia. This has hindered works like business, online classes and streaming.
