1. There was a rise in gold and silver this week: Gold increased by Rs 1,547 to reach Rs 75,640, silver was being sold at Rs 91,448 per kg.

This week there has been a rise in the prices of gold and silver. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on last Saturday i.e. 21st September, gold was at Rs 74,093, which has now reached Rs 75,640 per 10 grams (28th September). That means its price has increased by Rs 1,547 this week.
Whereas, if we talk about silver, it was at Rs 88,917 last Saturday, which has now reached Rs 91,448 per kg. This week its price has increased by Rs 2,531. This year, silver had reached its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per share on May 29.

2. NSE and BSE changed transaction fees: New rates will be applicable in cash, futures and options transaction trades from October 1.

National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have changed the transaction fees charged for cash and futures and options trades. The transaction fee for cash market in NSE will now be Rs 2.97/lakh traded value. Whereas in the equity derivatives segment, the transaction fee in futures will be Rs 1.73/lakh traded value.
Whereas options will have premium value of Rs 35.03/lakh. In the currency derivatives segment, NSE has kept the transaction fee for futures at Rs 0.35/lakh traded value. Whereas in currency options and interest rate options this fee will be Rs 31.1/lakh premium value.

3. Adani Enterprises will soon sell chocolate: Will buy 74% stake in Cococart Ventures, deal may be done for Rs 200 crore

Adani Group’s flagship company Adani Enterprises will buy 74% stake in the joint venture Cococart Ventures Private Limited (CVPL). The company gave this information on Friday (September 27). April Moon Retail Private Limited (AMRPL), a joint venture of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), a step-down subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, will buy this stake.
This purchase of Rs 200 crore will be done through share purchase and subscription agreements. For this acquisition, Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), Share Subscription Agreement (SSA) and Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) have been signed on 27 September 2024.
