Indian Railways is going to make changes in the counter booking of Tatkal tickets. Now passengers will have to verify OTP on mobile to confirm the ticket. This system will be implemented on all trains across the country in the next few days.
Besides, the time for preparation of train chart will also be increased from 4 hours to 8 hours in advance. This will give wait-listed passengers more time for planning. The pilot project was started on 52 trains on November 17, which was successful.

5. New labor codes will be implemented by April 2026: Government will pre-publish the draft rules soon; Gratuity will be given in 1 year instead of 5

Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Wednesday that the draft rules of four new labor codes will be pre-published very soon. After this, anyone will be able to give suggestions for 5 days and then the final notification will come.
Mansukh Mandaviya says that these codes will be fully implemented from the next financial year (April 2026). All four codes have been notified on 21 November. He further said that labor is a concurrent subject, hence the states will also have to notify themselves. Rules can be changed according to local conditions.
