Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 for over 4000 posts begins at rrcnr.org. The last date to apply is December 24.

The Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway, is accepting applications for apprentice positions. Eligible candidates can apply for a total of 4116 posts on the official website, rrcnr.org. The deadline to apply for the Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 is December 24.

All candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from paying fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed the SSC, Matriculation, or 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with at least 50 per cent marks from a recognised board. Additionally, they must have passed the ITI in a relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognised by the Government of India.

Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is between 15 and 24 years as of December 24, 2025.

Selection Process for Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025:

Selection will be based on a merit list created by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, SSC, or 10th (with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks) and ITI examinations, giving equal weightage to both.

In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. If the dates of birth are the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be considered first. A final merit list will be prepared by cluster, trade, and community, in descending order of the percentage of marks secured in SSC, Matriculation, or 10th and ITI.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “apply online” for the RRC NR recruitment link.

Step 3: Fill in the application form and upload all the essential documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the application form.

Step 5: Save the application form and take a print out for future use.
