Manchester United’s 29-man squad for the pre-season game against Leeds in Stockholm includes new signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon. Onana and Zirkzee stay in Carrington.

Manchester United’s squad for the first pre-season fixture of summer 2025 has been confirmed. The Reds will face Leeds United in Stockholm on Saturday, with Ruben Amorim naming a 29-man travelling group. The players and staff departed for Sweden earlier on Friday afternoon.
New signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon are included, and the match at the Strawberry Arena could offer fans their first glimpse of the duo in United colours.
Cunha has been assigned the no.10 shirt, and it was confirmed on Friday that Leon will wear no.30.
Several other squad members will be sporting new numbers, including Diogo Dalot (2), Chido Obi (32), and Tyler Fredricson (33).
Andre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee have stayed at Carrington to recover from minor issues but are expected to join the squad for the United States tour next week.
The match against Daniel Farke’s team precedes further friendlies against West Ham United, Bournemouth, Everton, and Fiorentina before the season starts in mid-August.
According to a report by The Athletic, Manchester United have reached an agreement with Brentford to sign forward Bryan Mbeumo. After weeks of negotiations, a deal worth up to 71 million Pounds has been finalised. It includes an initial 65 million Pounds to be paid in four instalments, plus a maximum of six million in bonuses.

Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Noussary Mazrauui, Matthics the Ligt, Harry Maguir, Patrick Chinazekpers Dorgu, Leny Yoro, Ayden Heaven, Tyler Fredricon, Reece Munro, Godwill Kukonki.
Midfielders: Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Fletcher, Sekou Kone, Toby Collyer.
Forwards: And the Hojlud, Cunha, Obi, Ethan Williams.
