A massive glacier burst in Nepal has claimed at least 95 lives, with officials fearing the death toll will rise further as rescue operations continue on a war footing. Over 400 foreign nationals are missing, including 133 Indian tourists. Among the missing Indians, 77 are pilgrims associated with the Isha Foundation who were inside an immigration office that was washed away. India has dispatched 10 tonnes of relief and rescue material aboard a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, while a C-17 Globemaster and NDRF teams in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar remain on standby. Rescue efforts by around 1,000 Nepalese troops face severe challenges due to harsh terrain, poor weather, and heavy sludge.
