National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the result of NEET PG 2025. Along with this, the board has also released the list of toppers. Dr. Pooshan Mohapatra has secured the number-1 rank in NEET PG. He completed his MBBS degree from SCB Medical and Hospital, Cuttack in 2024. He has scored 707 out of 800 marks in the NEET PG exam.
Dr. Pooshan’s family is overjoyed after he topped the NEET PG exam. He revealed that he was at home when the result was announced and asked his sister to check it, reported News18 Hindi. During this time, his mother was with him. Pooshan mentioned that his mother saw the result first, marking the most special moment of his life. As soon as she saw the result, his sister joyfully held his hand.
Dr. Greeshma has secured the All India second rank in the NEET PG 2025 exam. Dr. Greeshma has scored 705 marks in this exam. NBEMS will release the NEET PG score card on August 29 which can be downloaded from the official website for six months.

Rank 3 – Dr. Asutosh, 705 marks
Rank 4 – Dr. Karthikeya, 701 Marks
Rank 5 – Dr Adarsh, 695 marks
Out of 2,30,114 candidates who appeared, 1,28,116 have qualified for the counselling process for MD, MS, and PG diploma seats in medical colleges across India.

The admission process is likely to be conducted in three rounds, followed by an online stray vacancy mop-up round. The Medical Counselling Committee, MCC will conduct NEET PG 2025 counselling for 50 per cent of AIQ (All India Quota) seats for government, private, and government-aided medical colleges.
