The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 21 announced that it will release the answer keys, raw scores, and normalisation formula for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025. The move comes in compliance with the directions of the Supreme Court to ensure greater transparency in multi-shift examinations.
The NEET PG 2025 results were declared on August 19, while candidates will be able to download their scorecards from August 29. According to the Supreme Court’s order dated April 29, 2025, in SLP No. 9298 of 2018, NBEMS has been instructed to make raw scores, answer keys, and details of the normalisation process available publicly.
Over 2.42 Lakh Candidates Appeared For NEET PG 2025
This year, more than 2.42 lakh candidates took NEET PG, which was conducted on August 3 in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres nationwide.
NBEMS said that the official answer key for NEET PG 2025 will be published on its website, along with candidates’ responses to each question. The marks awarded will follow the evaluation scheme as specified in the NEET PG 2025 Information Bulletin.
Candidates will be able to access their individual answer keys and marked responses via their applicant login on the NBEMS portal.

“Since the sequence of questions asked within a section are shuffled for different candidates and the order of four distractors of a question are also shuffled for different candidates appearing in NEET PG 2025, the question ID numbers, correct answer key and responses marked will be displayed as per the master set of NEET PG 2025 question paper used for the exam,” NBEMS said.
The Board also informed that it is in the process of developing an online portal for publishing answer keys and candidate responses, which will be made available at the earliest.
For any queries, candidates can reach NBEMS through its helpline at 011-45593000 or via the communication portal at exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main.
