Muthoot Fincorp Ltd has filed draft papers with SEBI to raise Rs 3,000 crore through IPO. According to the draft red herring prospectus filed on Wednesday, the IPO will consist entirely of issuance of new equity shares. This capital will be used to meet future capital needs, provide further lending and support the growth and expansion of the business. Businesses of Muthoot Fincorp Muthoot Fincorp is part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group. The history of this group dates back to 1887. Muthoot Fincorp is a diversified non-banking financial company. The main business of the company is gold loan. Its portfolio also includes business loans, loans against property, supply chain financing, digital loans, microfinance and housing loans. The company has been in the gold loan business for more than two decades. It offers services through its network of branches across India and its digital platform Muthoot Fincorp One. 5,610 branches, 4.26 crore digital users, as of March 31, 2026, the company’s asset under management i.e. AUM was Rs 73,444.72 crore. It had 5,610 branches across the country and 4.26 crore users on the digital platform. Quoting CRISIL report, the draft paper states that between March 2024 and March 2026, Muthoot Fincorp’s gold loan AUM grew at a compound annual growth rate of 59.04%. This was the fastest growth among his peers. Profit increased to Rs 1,847.62 crore. The company’s consolidated profit increased to Rs 1,847.62 crore in FY 2026. In the last financial year it was Rs 607.90 crore. The company’s consolidated operational revenue also increased to Rs 11,203.81 crore from Rs 8,497.69 crore in FY 2025. Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Morgan Stanley India Company, JM Financial and SBI Capital Markets are the book running lead managers to the issue.
