A strong spell of thunderstorms accompanied by dust storms with winds up to 60-90 km/h and moderate to heavy rains is expected to impact Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivli, Vasai, Virar, and nearby areas of Alibaug within the next 120 minutes.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms with rain for today, Tuesday, with temperatures expected to reach a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius.

The impending rain could cause delays or interruptions to the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

According to the weather forecast, on Wednesday, the maximum temperature is expected to remain around 33 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be around 28 degrees Celsius. A thunderstorm with rain is also predicted.

On Thursday, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy with light rain or drizzle. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 26°C to a maximum of 33°C.

While several interior parts of Maharashtra have experienced light showers, the city did not receive any on Monday.

On Monday, the city’s weather observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 33.7°C and a minimum of 26.6°C.
