Prateek Yadav, son of late former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission Vice-Chairperson Aparna Yadav, passed away at a civil hospital in Lucknow on Wednesday.
According to the information available, Prateek Yadav was brought to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Officials said postmortem procedures were underway, while the exact cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed.
Prateek Yadav was known as the son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, though he largely stayed away from active politics.
His marriage to Aparna Yadav, a BJP leader and member of the Yadav family, often kept him in the public spotlight.
The development also comes weeks after reports had surfaced about differences between Aparna Yadav and Prateek Yadav.
However, the couple had later put speculation to rest by sharing photographs together and stating publicly that all was well between them.
