The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced recruitment for the post of Food Safety Officer, offering a promising opportunity for job seekers in the state. The application process will begin on July 11, 2025, and interested candidates can apply online at mppsc.mp.gov.in until August 10, 2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 67 vacancies for the role of Food Safety Officer in Madhya Pradesh. Corrections to the application form are permitted until August 12, 2025.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Graduation, Post Graduation, or Doctorate Degree in fields such as Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Food Authority with prior approval from the Central Government.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.
Application Fee
The application fee is set at Rs 250 for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Economically Weaker Section and Divyangjan candidates from Madhya Pradesh, while candidates from other categories are required to pay Rs 500.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 36,200 to Rs 1,14,800, along with dearness allowance and other benefits as per the state government’s regulations.
