A salon owner in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, was reportedly assaulted by workers of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) following allegations that he had mistreated a female employee.
According to sources, the woman had been employed at the salon for several months but had not received her salary.
After repeated requests went unanswered, she approached local MNS workers for help.
The MNS members then reportedly visited the salon and confronted the owner.
In the video, allegedly recorded by one of the assailants, a group of men can be seen slapping and punching the owner while he pleads for mercy.

Police officials stated that no formal complaint has been filed yet. However, authorities are examining the viral video and verifying its authenticity.
This incident adds to a string of recent cases involving MNS workers, often connected to alleged insults to Marathi culture and language by non-locals.
Earlier this week, another MNS worker was filmed slapping a woman at a railway station in Thane.
The party claimed the woman had verbally abused her husband and used derogatory language against Marathi people during a minor spat.
