Argentine superstar Lionel Messi netted a brace in Inter Miami’s 4-0 thrashing of New York City on Thursday at the Citi Field as Balstasar Rodrigues and Luis Suarez also got on the scoresheet.
Rodrigues broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute of the game as Miami took a slender lead into the break before Messi netted two second-half goals, either side of Suarez’s penalty in the 83rd minute of the game.
