Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 3 Schedule Revised, Check Details

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has updated the Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling schedule. As per the new timeline, candidates can submit their preferences starting tomorrow, October 11, with the last date to apply being October 14. The revised schedule is now available on the official website at medicalug2025.mahacet.org.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 CAP Round 3 selection list will be released on October 17, with physical reporting and confirmation of admission with all necessary documents to occur from October 18 to 26, 2025.

The CET Cell has specified that there will be no counselling activity from October 21 to 23 due to the Diwali festival.

Today, October 10, the round 3 seat matrix has been released. Additionally, the CET Cell mentioned that seat availability might increase in the third round due to the cancellation of All India Quota (AIQ) round 3 seats, urging candidates to carefully fill their choices.

The revised schedule aligns with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)’s updated AIQ Round 3 timeline, which extended choice filling and added new MBBS seats. Candidates allocated seats under AIQ Round 3 will not be eligible for Maharashtra state counselling.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official MHT CET counselling portal at – cetcell.mahacet.org

Step 2: Click on the link for Medical Courses counselling.

Step 3: Click on the tab that reads “New Registration”.

Step 4: Enter the required details to get the registration number.

Step 5: Log in with the registration number and password, and complete your counselling application by uploading all necessary documents.

Step 6: Pay the registration fee and submit the application form.

Step 7: Download the application form and save it for future reference.

Candidates must specify their preferred colleges and courses. Admission to Maharashtra MBBS programmes will be determined based on these preferences, the candidate’s rank, seat availability, and applicable reservations. Those who fail to complete the online registration form will not be eligible for admission.
