The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 counselling provisional merit list today, August 7. The seat allotment has been issued for MBBS and BDS courses under Group A. Candidates who applied for the counselling can now check and download the Maharashtra NEET UG merit list by visiting the official website at medicalug2025.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2025.
A total of 60,021 candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes. As per the state NEET UG counselling schedule, candidates can submit their preferences between August 8 and 11, 2025. The seat allotment results will be announced on August 13. Those who secure seats must report to their designated institutes for physical joining between August 14 and August 22, except on August 15 and 16.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Seat Allotment List: How To Check
Step 1: Open the official website — medicalug2025.mahacet.org
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the NEET UG 2025 counselling seat allotment link and click on it.
Step 3: Next up, key in your login details, that is, registration number and password.
Step 4: The NEET UG 2025 seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: View and download the result for future reference.
Candidates applying under the NRI quota will be considered for admission only after receiving approval from the Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA). Similarly, those applying under the Divyang category will be eligible after verification by the medical board.
Candidates must self-verify their allotted seat by accepting the declaration through their login in CAP Round-1. They must also certify that the details provided in the application form, such as qualifying marks, category, and gender, are accurate.
Candidates who are allotted a seat other than their first preference and have chosen to freeze their allotment in Round-I must accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee online. These candidates will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds.
Those who are allotted a seat other than their first preference and wish to continue in subsequent rounds must claim the seat allotted in Round I by selecting the ‘Do not freeze’ option and paying the seat acceptance fee online through their login.
