Bikaji CMD Shivratan Aggarwal (74) will be cremated today (Friday) in Bikaner. His only son Deepak Aggarwal will light the funeral pyre. He died of a heart attack in Chennai on the morning of 23 April (Thursday). In Bikaner, he was better known as ‘Fanna Babu’ than Shivratan Agarwal. Shivratan Agarwal’s mortal remains were brought to Bikaner by charter plane at around 9.30 pm on Thursday night. His family members have also reached Bikaner in 4 charter planes. The last journey will reach the cremation ground of Aggarwal Samaj near Satimata temple today at 10 am from the residence in Sardulganj via Nathusar Gate. The funeral will take place here. People have started coming to Shivratan Agarwal’s residence since morning. Many people including Vaibhav Gehlot, son of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot have arrived. Ashok Gehlot is also going to arrive shortly. Bikaner Trade Board President Jugal Rathi said – The markets of the city will remain closed till 2 pm on Friday. Bikaji’s CMD Shivratan Agarwal died of heart attack: breathed his last in Chennai, had gone with his family for his wife’s operation.
