Ladakh Talks Fail? Sonam Wangchuk Warns Of Fresh Protest From September 19 | News18


The latest round of talks between Ladakh representatives and the Centre has triggered fresh tensions after no draft was presented on the proposed governance framework.Educationist and activist Sonam Wangchuk says representatives had expected a draft based on decisions from the previous meeting, but “there was no draft.” He also said the group had submitted a list of non-negotiables, but received no response to those demands.The developments come amid long-standing demands in Ladakh for greater political representation, constitutional safeguards and increased legislative powers.
