Days after the police said that Siya Goyal and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, conspired to kill Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal, a new video has surfaced on social media purportedly showing the two together at a cricket match.
The undated video, which has not been independently verified by News18, appears to show Siya and Chetan, seated in the spectatator’s stand, interacting during a match. The clip has surfaced as investigators continue to probe the alleged murder conspiracy.

Meanwhile, Siya Goyal’s lawyer said the investigation is still underway and that the prosecution has yet to produce independent evidence linking his client to the crime.
Advocate Aashutosh Srivastava, counsel for Siya Goyal, said, “This entire matter is under investigation, and the police are conducting the probe properly. Initially, it was registered as a case of accidental death, but the police later began investigating a murder angle, a process that is currently ongoing.”
“Our client, Siya, is cooperating fully with the investigation so that the police can reach a proper conclusion, file the appropriate charge sheet, and bring the truth to light. Although the charge sheet has not yet been filed, which would provide more clarity, it is my view that there are no independent witnesses to prove that my client committed such a crime,” he said.
Srivastava added that the defence would seek judicial custody for Siya when she is produced before the court on July 29.
“We all desire justice for everyone involved—whether it is the victim and their family or the accused and their family. We will certainly represent her on the 29th. Our stance will be to seek judicial custody for her. If the police request further police remand, they will have to present grounds justifying the need for it. The court will then decide the matter in the interest of justice,” he said.
Siya’s mother, Pooja Goyal, also claimed that her daughter had expressed reluctance about the trek to Lohagad Fort, where Ketan later died.
“The night before the incident, Siya and Ketan had a video call about going to Lohagad Fort. When Ketan’s mother came on the call, Siya said she didn’t want to go on the trek, but his mother asked her to go. This is all in the chats between the two, where she says she didn’t want to go but he was convincing her otherwise,” Pooja Goyal said.
According to the police, Ketan Agarwal was allegedly pushed to his death at Lohagad Fort by Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary on June 18. Investigators allege the duo initially attempted to portray the incident as an accident before the probe uncovered an alleged murder conspiracy.
Pune Rural Police SP Sandeep Singh Gill said, “The family expressed doubts, and a formal complaint was lodged based on these suspicions. Through confidential sources, witness statements, and technical evidence, it was revealed that Siya Goyal had a friend named Chetan Chaudhary. The two had known each other for about a year. They conspired to execute this plan; at Lohagad Fort, they pushed Ketan Agarwal, causing him to fall to his death.”
